Shipping & Delivery

Timeframe

You can expect your order to be dispatched from the Happy & Healthy HQ within 2-5 working days.

We operate a little differently to many online stores; whilst we do hold some stock, the majority of our products are ordered in, based on the orders you place with us.  We collate your orders, then place them with our suppliers twice weekly.  Buying in semi-bulk packs and to order, means that nothing is sitting around in bulk bins waiting to be sold.  Instead, buying directly from the supplier means that your products have been well packaged, properly warehoused out of the light and at a good temperature.  Freshness guaranteed!

Shipping Costs (Free For Orders Over $75)

We offer free shipping New Zealand wide, on orders over NZ$75.  For orders under this value, the shipping cost is calculated based on weight and location.  We aim to keep all shipping costs to a minimum and we do not charge extra for rural deliveries.

For those living / holidaying / passing through the Kapiti Coast, you can collect your order directly from us.  Simply select “I’ll Collect from H&H” at the checkout.  We will let you know when your order is ready for pickup.

Sustainability & Packaging

At Happy & Healthy we proudly believe that we all play a role in leaving the world better than how we found it, and it is with this in mind that we strive to make sustainable business decisions and go plastic-free wherever possible.  For example:

  • It is more than likely that you will receive your goods in one of our suppliers’ boxes (i.e. the box won’t be brand spanking new, nor will it be beautifully branded) – we reuse all suitable boxes that come through our door!
  • We pack our bulk products down into compostable, brown paper bags. (Note: Once you receive these goodies, we suggest transferring them into airtight storage containers to maintain their freshness)
  • We re-use paper and cardboard as packing materials to pad and protect your products from breakages. No bubble-wrap or styrofoam here.

However, in many instances, our products come pre-packaged by our suppliers.  With this comes a mix of biodegradable, home-compostable packaging, as well as (unfortunately) plastic.  However, our suppliers are feeling the pressure and we are seeing a number making environmentally sustainable changes.  With continued pressure and technological improvements, we hope that plastic packaging will soon be a thing of the past.
