A beautiful organic semi whole meal spelt spaghetti, this pasta is from Italy and is traditionally made to increase taste and retain nutrients.  Simply boil some water, throw your spaghetti in and then toss with sauce. Delicious, organic and flavourful!


La Terra e il Cielo is co-operative made up of 90 associated member farms and they have been producing organic pasta sine 1980. Only the finest durum wheat grain is selected to be made into pasta. The traditional process of drying at low temperatures preserves the protein content to provide a nutritional product of the highest quality.

  • Spelt is a species of wheat arising from natural hybridisation which has taken place centuries ago. It is one of the original 7 grains mentioned in the bible and continues to be popular today for its nutritional value. Spelt has high water solubility, so its nutrients are easily absorbed by the body. White Spelt Flour is just spelt flour with most of the bran and germ removed. Wholemeal spelt flour is made from whole grain.
  • Spelt flour is used where a ‘lighter’ touch is preferred, as in pastries, biscuits, cakes, etc. It can replace white wheat or white grain flour in most baking recipes. It gives a slightly sweet, nutty flavour.
