Mitoku Seaweed - Kushiro Kombu/Kelp - 50g
Mitoku Kombu is harvested from the cold ocean depths of the northern island of Hokkaido. The kombu is then naturally sun-dried. Kombu is indispensable for making a tasty cooking stock for soups, sauces and noodle broth. When cooked with beans, kombu has the unique ability to soften the beans, shorten the cooking time and make them more digestible.
Ingredients: Certified Organic Kombu (Laminaria japonica) seaweed
Origin: Product of Japan
Enjoy Me...
- Use kombu to enhance the flavor of stews. It is particularly good with root vegetables like carrots, parsnips, and turnips.
- To cook, place kombu in a pot, cover with water, and simmer for an hour or until soft.
