Natural, high quality whole, transitional organic almonds grown in the USA .  These almonds have been shelled but undergo no other processing so still have the skin intact and are brown in colour.  

You may already know about transitional crops: These crops are grown on standard farms that have converted to organic practices fulfilling the Biogro organic certification for between two and five years.  At the five year mark the farm receives its full Biogro organic certification.  This means that transitional almonds are grown on farms that completely fulfill every Biogro practice but have not yet reached the five year mark.

  • Snack on these raw, delicious, sweet almonds, just the way they are, or give these ideas a try...
  • They can also be ground down and used in baking or added to energy bar recipes for a lovely marzipan flavour.
  • We like to use organic almonds to make a rich almond milk. Home-made milk, with around 12% almonds is far superior to what you can buy in the shops which often only contains 2% almonds, plus it's free from additives and preservatives.
  • There are many options for using the almond pulp left over from almond milk making... crackers are one of my favourites or alternatively you can soak it with your overnight oats, a delicious and nutritious way to start the day!
