Acai (ah-sigh-ee) berries are a deep purple colour and are an all-natural energy berry tasting like a unique blend of berries and chocolate. Considered to be one of the most nutritious food today, Acai berries have more antioxidants than almost any other fruit and contain high levels of essential fatty acids, amino acids, and dietary fibre.

Note that this Acai pulp is NOT pasteurised before it is freeze-dried which results in an ORAC score of 9,107 uM trolox / 5g. This is nearly twice as much as Acai sourced from the Brazilian Amazon making it an extremely high source of anti-oxidants. (By law, all Brazilian acai products, even the freeze-dried powder is pasteurised before processing so this Columbian Acai is the only RAW Acai on the market.)

  • Add a couple of teaspoons of acai powder to your food or drinks. For example, smply blend acai berry powder with your favourite fruits and milk for a refreshing smoothie or juice. Mix acai powder into a yogurt parfait or sprinkle it on top of your morning oatmeal. It’s also delicious with desserts like tart frozen yogurt and makes a wonderful addition to chia seed pudding.
