Ceres Organic Quinoa is the perfect rice substitute. It is cooked in a similar manner as rice, and has light, fluffy, and slightly crunchy texture paired with a slightly nutty flavour that can help enhance your dishes. Dry quinoa can also be the perfect addition to your soups, stews, cereals, or any other meal you want to bulk up with an extra dose of nutrition. 


Red quinoa (which takes on a brownish hue when cooked) has a richer taste, slightly chewier texture, and somewhat nuttier flavour compared to white quinoa. It’s often the quinoa of choice for cold salads as it holds its shape better during cooking.

  • TO COOK: Rinse under running water. In a pot, put in a cup of quinoa with two cups of water or stock (for added flavour), cover and bring to the boil. Reduce heat to simmer until all liquid is absorbed, about 15-20 minutes.
