Potato Starch Flour (Gluten Free) - 1kg or 3kg

 Potato starch flour, otherwise referred to as just Potato Starch,  is used to thicken sauces, gravies, soups, puddings, and pie fillings. This is a fine white flour made from potatoes and has a light potato flavour which is undetectable when used in recipes.   

Naturally gluten-free and flavourless, potato starch is also ideal for adding moistness and a fluffy texture to baked goods.

  • Since potato starch thickens more quickly than grain starches, it’s best to use it toward the end of cooking.
  • Uncooked, potato starch is an excellent resistant starch that encourages healthy gut bacteria. So rather than cooking it, dissolve it in cold or lukewarm water or add it to a smoothie (don't worry it's virtually tasteless!).
